Humantech Co., Ltd., a company specializing in take-out robots and injection molding automation, has developed and unveiled a new take-out robot HERO series. The HERO series is a product developed by Humantech by maximally reflecting market demands. It is a take-out robot that not only improves work efficiency and user convenience, but also enhances safety and security.

The HERO series monitors the fully automatic signal of the injection molding machine, and when the injection machine stops, it stops at the take-out standby position after 1 cycle operation, and when the injection machine is started again, the operation start function linked to the injection machine significantly reduces operation time. Also noteworthy is the 'Continue Chuck Miss' function, which allows the user to solve the problem without separately pressing the control panel by waiting for the operation of the injection machine after opening the product on the drop side (buzzer and message are generated).

Only the setting values selected by the user, such as location setting and timer setting, are displayed on the display screen, and a blind function that shortens the setting time due to unnecessary numeric input is added. Security functions have been strengthened, such as displaying the appropriate setting screen.

An ejector-free function has been added to make the arm of the take-out robot self-free at the forward position of the ejector and turn on the servo on its own when the ejector advance is completed. It is useful for products that are difficult to take out, injection molding machines whose mold opening distance is slightly changed, and products that can only be taken out when they are in close contact with the forward position of the ejector. In addition, it not only prevents damage to the robot caused by the ejector, but also reduces the mold opening distance by maintaining a short jig length, thereby increasing production volume.

If you go to the production site, you can often see cases where inexperienced workers damage molds with unnecessary manipulation or damage machines due to malfunctions. In particular, the addition of functions such as 'continue chuck miss' is expected to reduce accidents and breakdowns that occur when unskilled workers operate the pendant.
